Stop the censorship of dress code without the consent of students.

Created by J.P. on February 20, 2016

Alice ISD has been regulating dress code without consent of its students for several years, and it was workable; until now.
The district's dress code for PROM is blatantly infringing on the right to freedom of expression, and accepting this sets a precedent that the students are to accept rules that they have not consented to.
The district voted that women must have the following:

"No dress shorter than 3 In above knee
No dress lower than 3 in blow the collar bone
No back lower than natural bra line
No strapless
No stomach showing
No 2 piece
No mesh at all"
But the real problem is that the school passed this WITHOUT consent from the students, and a precedent set like this must NOT be tolerated.
Why the district decided to suddenly make these rules? We do not know the answer.
