stop changing the number of signatures needed for a petition to get a response.

Created by L.E. on October 14, 2011

While it's understandable the White House still has no idea how easily mobilized Americans are when it comes to online support, it's uncalled for to change the number of signatures needed to gain a response repeatedly. That's not the change we were hoping for.

Issues are getting 5,000 signatures in just a few days because Americans are ready for some answers. We will get 25,000 too. Change it again though and you might as well shut down the offer for interaction with the general public, and change your slogan to, You the People - your voice outside the government.

Stop delaying the inevitable, stop changing the requirements, start giving us answers!
