Stop Chicago public schools from mandating that private and catholic schools must take the MAP test.

Less than two months before MAP testing, the Chicago public school system has dropped a bomb on the private and catholic schools of Chicago. The MAP test was never required in order to apply for selective enrollment high schools. The catholic schools do terra nova tests which was accepted by the CPS system up until now. The children in CPS schools take the MAP test three times a year and are therefore at an advantage to private/catholic school children. We have not had ample time to prepare our children for this new test that they've never been exposed to. We feel that this is unfair and should at least be held off until the beginning of next year when the kids can at least prepare. Our kids have enough stress without this. They prepared for the terra novas and completed them.
