Thousands of so-called “deadbeat” parents are jailed each year in the U.S. after failing to pay court ordered child support. An estimated 50,000 individuals are kept in jail or in person on any given day in the U.S.for failing to pay court ordered child support "Prisons cost taxpayers more than $32 billion a year.It should not be the governments responsibility to deal with the way a child is raised, if the child is in good health and is in no way harmed.If one parent can not take care of the childrens raising on their own then let the parent be the primary caregiver of the child. If both parents can not or refuse not to take care of their child on their own then the let the stat have the way with it. But if one parent will take on the job of raising the children
