Vietnam possesses adequate historical evidences and legal foundations to affirm its indisputable sovereignty over the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly) archipelagos in the East Vietnam Sea (also known as Biển Đông or South China Sea).
However, with the ambition to monopolize over the East Vietnam Sea and set the new world order, China keeps trying to upset the status quo and infringe upon territorial sovereignty of other countries in this maritime area.
The international community expressed their great concerns that upon completion of its illegal reclamation in unauthorized areas of the East Vietnam Sea.
This would seriously threat to and undermine peace, stability, maritime safety and security as well as freedom of navigation in and over-flight above the East Vietnam Sea.
