Stop the Christian genocide by the Islamic State in northern Iraq. These Christian people have never fought wars against their neighbors, yet they are being systematically uprooted from their homes and made to flee, convert to Islam, or die. Their ancient villages and gardens are some of the oldest Christian communities in the world and can be dated to the times of the earliest apostles. Help these peaceful people who continue to lose everything for their faith. The United States ratified the Genocide Convention treaty in 1988. We have an obligation in securing the protection of these persecuted people and petition president Barak Obama to take immediate action in stopping this horrific genocide.
