Stop the circulation of pennies, nickels, and quarters. They are economically solvent and wasting tax dollars.

Created by A.M. on November 11, 2014

The penny and nickel cost more to produce than they are worth. That's the bottom line. They're also divided too small to be a rational way to purchase goods or services. The quarter must be abolished if the nickel goes because it's practicality would be lost with the nickel. It's a small amount the country would save, but it's probably one of the easiest things that can be done. We would make our primary coinage be dimes, half dollars, and dollar coins. If something costs $1.34 then it would be rounded to $1.30 and if it was $1.35 then it would be rounded to $1.40.
