Inmate 0467777 suffered from ruptured Achilles Heel in prison. No doctor looked at his foot until 6 weeks after injury. Proper procedures followed by inmate. Out side friend called and got permission to review his medical file with nurses and doctors treating his case. Medicines discontinued without prison doctor examination. Through outside friend's repeat calls, he was seen by a outside Doctor and was told he needed surgery. No surgery, medicine discontinued. Seen by surgeon who said he could not operate as the prison had not X-rayed his foot and leg.
