To stop collecting on Federal Student Loans that have been paid back by 1.5 times. Marked them as paid in full.

Created by J.E. on January 04, 2013

Student loans are being collected and mixed up with debt collection. Many people are paying back student loans and being ignored when requesting information on the amount paid and owed. After calculating the amounts paid it was found that some people have paid in 1.5 and up of the original amount owed. Have the department of education produce the acounts that are over 5 years old with the original loan amount and the money recieved on those accounts. Any acount receiving 1.5 times the orginal loan amount considered paid in full. Plus refund any amount over that. Then if no funds have been received then go after those accounts with garnishment and withholding Tax refund with no exception except death or disability not allowing them to work. But lower the wage garnishment to 5 %.
