Every year at many college universities, students that live on-campus are forced to pay for outrageously priced meal plans, which can exceed over 1,800 dollars every semester. Not only are students forced to pay a premium for meals, but many stores located on-campus will charge up to three times as much for consumer products that can be purchased at a local convenience store. With the rising costs of college education, universities that are receiving federal funds should not be allowed to take advantage of students through profit-sharing meal plans and over priced products. Please help stop universities from requiring you to buy an overpriced meal plan and reduce the amount of future student debt.
