Christopher Columbus was a 15th century terrorist. He sailed to a "new world" and killed many of the people that lived there. He forced others to believe in what he wanted them to. He "discovered" a land that was already there and inhabited by people who deserved to be treated better. Then stole their valuables. We should not celebrate a day in his name and teach kids that he was a great person. It wasn't true and isn't the right thing to do.
