Stop the Commerce Department from transferring the Internet out of US control

Created by D.G. on March 23, 2014

The transferring of any aspect of the internet by the Commerce Department is unacceptable on any level. No matter how small certain media organizations try to make the ICANN transfer it does not take away from the fact that once you give an inch people take a mile. Soon every appliance, car and even accessories such as watches and glasses will run of the net. Given the coordinated hack attacks from the very countries who are pushing us to give up internet control the risk is simply too great. Today it's ICANN with their ability to register URL's tomorrow it could be allowing foreign monitors to block posting or sites deemed offensive. This may be a world economy but we still hold true to the U.S. constitution and will not recognize others desires to censor our right to free speech.
