Stop companies who use temporary agencies from recycling those workers instead of hiring them full time with benefits.

Created by J.G. on September 05, 2012

Companies that use temporary agencies to hire employees should have to hire those workers with benefits instead of stringing them along month after month. In Southeastern Indiana one cannot apply directly to most factories. In order to be considered for employment one must apply at a local temporary agency. These agencies then place applicants where available. These workers are paid less than the full time employees with part of the wage being paid to the agency. If one works more than 90 days, he is eligible for hire full time. Most will be told on day 89 they are no longer needed then "rehired" the next day starting over at day one. Others are kept and given a small raise but not hired. Some work "temporarily" for as long as a year before being hired with full pay and benefits.
