Stop Congressional budget delays. Members of Congress and their staff members' pay should be based on performance.

Created by J.G. on January 11, 2013

There is a move across the county to tie pay to performance. This includes teachers and doctors. Why does this exclude Congress? Congress and the congressional staff members should have performance measures such as passing a budget. If they can't pass an annual budget they shouldn't be paid. Why do we expect more from ourselves then we expect of our leaders? What have they done to deserve our respect and our money? It isn't just their salary. They get huge benefit packages. Next time you think about entitlements think about Congress -- they take without doing anything but agreeing to disagree. If they are tea-party members why do they accept any tax dollars? What has Congress done today to keep us from facing another budget crisis?
