Stop congressional pay raise.

Created by F.E. on December 31, 2012

As Congressman John Barrow of Georgia put it: "At a time when American families face real hardship, it (is) irresponsible to allow Congressional pay to increase. Too many families face uncertainty in the New Year for Congress to get a bonus. Folks expect us to be looking out for them, not ourselves, and we should be working to lower taxes, cut spending, and get our nation's debt under control.
In addition, force congress to pass a budget (anything) or pay will be withheld. We urge you to sign this petition to bring legislation to the floor to stop this pay adjustment as soon as possible and force these elected officials to "do" their job or not receive a paycheck.
