Stop congressmen and senators from insider trading. Reinstate the STOCK ACT.

Created by D.N. on April 24, 2013

Last year congress passed the STOCK ACT in an attempt to curb congressional insider trading after an embarrassing report on 60 minutes highlighting the fact that the only Americans allowed to trade stocks based on information not publicly available are congressmen and senators. The report by 60 minutes also pointed to numerous acts by both dems and republicans that would be criminal if committed by anyone else.

In mid April 2013 congress watered down this act to make it largely ineffectual allowing them to once again unethically profit from their position. FORCE CONGRESS TO FOLLOW THE LAW.
