For decades the lobbying industry has wielded unacceptable power and influence over the political process. Lobbyists have repeatedly been exposed for corruption and creating corrupt politicians. This administration promised to be the most transparent in history, but meeting with lobbyists at the Jackson Place Complex was not enough to fool us.
We the people demand our political influence back, and not just through a website where you will throw us a bone from time to time. We want campaign finance reform. We want lobbyists and their money out of Washington. We want our control and influence back immediately. If it isn't returned we will be forced to take it. How will you facilitate the former and avoid the latter?
