This petition is to end corporate money's influence over our government. Lobbying is an unfair practice because it automatically allows corporations to have more of a voice than the American people themselves. This is not what democracy is about, and it also allows laws to be passed that are not in the interest of the general public. I feel as though this forum is much more democratic of a process than lobbying, and would be a much welcomed replacement for it. Thank you and have a great day!
