Stop corporations and governments from using questions on their online applications which can be age discriminatory.

Created by K.P. on January 27, 2015

All of these mandatory response requirements for all online applications should be eliminated or allow applicants to “opt out” from answering as these can also be used in algorithm based searches to “weed out” older workers. Date of Birth and Social Security Number, should only be given in person, and only if an applicant has been offered a job and not for pre-screening. Driver’s License number and expiration, this information could be easily hacked and misused. Are you under 40, and Date of High School Graduation, What is your current annual earnings, and What salary amount would you like. Although the EEOC has a generalized law about these types of questions, we believe that the law is not clear enough to stop age discrimination.
