I am all for people making money, and charging interested on loans that you borrow. But I am MORE for people having hope, and knowing that this endless cycle of interest and compound interest will finally come to an end. I believe that, not only will this sort of law passing make American's happier, but it will also boost the economy. (IE. I would buy more stuff that I don't need, or get more college education that I do need, if I knew that, within my lifetime, my debt could actually be paid off.)
With an example of this, if I purchase a vehicle costing $30,000. Then the MAX I would have to pay back for the loan would be $60,000. As it stands today, this loan could go on seemingly forever.
I see it as "The rich get richer, the poorer get poorer."
