Stop criminally prosecuting the possession of illicit drugs.

Created by M.S. on December 03, 2014

In this country, people are considered criminals for committing victimless crimes. A lot of these individuals have serious drug problems who need medical help and rehabilitation and do not deserve a criminal record. Rather than filling our prisons, when someone is found in possession of mentally and physically crippling, addictive illegal drugs have them evaluated by a physician and sent to rehab. The money saved from no longer prosecuting and incarcerating them could cover the costs of rehab.
