Stop Criminals from Voting!

Created by C.V. on December 04, 2012

Did you know that 2 of the 50 states in the U.S.A. allow criminals to use absentee ballot to vote while in jail?
The states of Maine and Vermont both encourage this action. This is a petition to speak to those states, and convince them that the criminals should lose this privilege.
Some concerns are that groups of people will be discriminated for ‘small crimes’. A misdemeanor does not revoke an American’s right to vote, though.
The right of suffrage should be withheld from individuals that destructively harm America, such as murders, rapists, thieves, and more. Sign this petition to stop criminals from deciding your future.
