Stop the cruel and inhumane captivity and torture of orca whales caused by the use of orcas for unscientific entrainment

Created by D.R. on May 14, 2014

Orcas (Killler Whales) are highly intelligent, highly social, and extremely large mammals that require hundreds of miles of water space to thrive as they travel up to 100mi each day in the wild. They are territorial and are hostile when kept in enclosed spaces, both to other killer whales and to humans. There have been no reported human deaths by killer whales in the wild, yet several human deaths have resulted from keeping these up to 10 ton animals in spaces unsuitable for their enormous size and extreme intelligence.
These animals are not suitable for keeping in the environments they are being held in and it is causing severely reduced life spans, physical defects, chronic illness and phycological torment, as well as human harm.
End captive breeding, wild capture, and performance.
