stop the cyfd (child youth and family department) from destroying family

at present the cyfd has the power to destroy family.
as a father that had nothing to do with the issues that put my kids into care (i in fact was liveing in another state at the time they were taken from their mother )i have met all requirement of this department yet they still hold my children from me .
please remove their (cyfd) seemingly god like power over the american family.and return children to their rightful place with good parents.wile some times unfortunaly children need to be taken from bad homes but when a family member steps up to care for their children they should be released.not put the family member through what seem like terroism.
