Stop Daily Interest on Federal Student Loans

Hello Fellow Citizens of the United State of America,
The reason I started this petition is because I would like to stop compounded daily interest which accumulates on student loans. Compounded interest accumulates to half of the payment I make by the time the next payment is due. By the time I pay off my debit I will pay just about if not more than $40,000 dollars for an $11,000 dollar degree. (I could have put a down payment on a house or go on a nice vacation). You don't even pay those kind of interest rates on credit cards! In addition usually people who are taking out loans do not have the means for paying for higher education in the first place. Its like punishing those who can not afford it and rewarding those who can.
