We the people ask the federal government to Change an existing Administration policy:

Stop the Dakota Access Pipeline - Japanese American Community in Support of Indigenous Rights

Created by T.Y. on November 30, 2016

As concerned Japanese Americans:

1. We support the subsequent legal filings submitted by the Standing Rock, Cheyenne River, Rosebud Sioux, and Yankton Sioux Tribes, whose human rights, treaty rights, and sovereignty are violated by these permits

2. We join them in calling for a full halt to all construction activities and repeal of all USACE permits until formal tribal consultation and environmental review are properly and adequately conducted

3. We demand an end to violence against water protectors at Standing Rock by state and private forces

4. We call on you, President Obama, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to end the federal government support of the DAPL and other pipelines impacting indigenous rights
