The Dakota Access Pipeline is a proposed pipeline that would move oil from North Dakota to Iowa. It would cross the Missouri River in two places, and it would be built on sacred Native American land. If either of those two places were to leak, the pollution caused would absolutely devastate the farmers in the area, the ranchers, and the fishing. With countless tributaries and aquifers hiding underground, a leak in the pipeline would make all water in this region toxic and not safe.
