According to David Holthouse's article entitled "Motley Crews", skinhead crime and violence is on the rise. Someone with an association with a hate group gets arrested at a higher rate.
Just this month, Daren Abbey was charged with felony malicious harassment (Idaho's hate-crime law) and battery for threatening to kill a black man and attacking him. In 2003, while trying to get out of a totally seperate crime, James Robertson admitted to killing to homeless men from Tampa in 1998. He plead not guilty in 2007. He faces life in prison, if convicted.
Although these are just two examples, some hate groups pose a threat to common people. times like these, their first amendment rights should be suspended. You can't yell "Fire!" in a crowded theatre. Safety should be for all.
