Daycare facilities across the country charge to watch your children, which is normal. What about for teachers who are home for the summer? The day care told us that we need to pay "weekly" over the summer at half price to hold his spot for when he comes back in the fall, I can see paying a deposit. And we are not allowed to bring him into daycare for even 2 days without paying a full weeks rate.There needs to be guidelines day care facilities must follow. They should not be allowed to charge for services not rendered. What about people who are on a budget and need the extra money that they are just giving away to the day care? It's not like I can take my children to another daycare, they all do this. The daycare industry is taking advantage of a situation. This is EXTORTION!!
