Do we or do we not have the right to face our accuser? Why are only mothers responsible? Why can they harass us and get away with it? When someone decides to involve a welfare system designed to help children in unfortunate circumstances as revenge or harassment of any kind and put a child's livelihood at risk, nothing can be done and us good mothers just have to deal with it. Deal with it? Really? Does anyone realize what that phone call does to a mother and now that mother's family. Why do we have to live in constant fear of raising and disciplining our children? I propose that the regulations of the dcfs system be reviewed and have new policies imposed cracking down on harassment, responsibility, and punishment for false accusations. Anonymous reports need to be more scrutinized.
