The closure of the USAF Security Forces Museum and consolidation with another museum has been recommended by USAF AETC who did not coordinate the action with any stakeholders, including SF members, the the Security Forces Academy, the AFSFA or the privately funded Security Forces Museum Foundation. This is a sign of disrespect toward the Air Police, Security Police, Security Forces career field and those veterans who strive to preserve our history through personal donations. The Museum represents the history, courage and sacrifice of the men and women who have defended the Air Force’s most vital resources for over 67 years. Please STOP this unilateral action, and encourage AETC to consult with and coordinate options with the stakeholders before marginalizing and boxing up our history.
