STOP DECREASING FOOD STAMPS, INCREASING MEDICAID SPEND-DOWNS & INCREASING SHARES-OF-RENT AFTER SOCIAL SECURITY INCREASES

Another measly 1.5% SSA increase this year?Every time there's SSA increase, for those of us whose incomes are below poverty-level, food stamps allowances decrease accordingly--which now, since food stamps have already been slashed to the bone makes life even more difficult--Medicaid spend-downs increase accordingly, and shares-of-rent for those of us in Section 8 housing voucher program also increase accordingly.Last year, after SSA increase, after food stamps decrease, Medicaid spend-down increase, and share-of-rent increase, I netted $4.The system is broken.This is ridiculous.The Federal govt gives with one hand, then takes with the other.THOSE OF US WHOSE INCOMES ARE ALREADY BELOW POVERTY LEVEL, SHOULDN'T HAVE OTHER BENEFITS DECREASED.THIS IS WHY PEOPLE CAN NEVER GET OFF THESE PROGRAMS
