As a superpower of this world we need to unify to stop deep sea ocean drilling. The ocean is has not only agriculture, life,WATER but it is one of the thing that makes it possible for humans to be able to sustain on this earth.
The oil companies (BP, Chevron, xeon, Texaco) play every one on words. There is leaking oil in our ocean right now but its such a small amount that the oil companies don't want to spent the money to fix them.
If we do do something about this now then our oceans well slowly start to die like some of the reefs already have. Our generation wont be the one suffering the future generations will be.
There will be a ecumenical impact so it will take some time But as a nation we will be able to overcome the impact.
