In 2010 president Obama agreed to supply the Egyptian Air Force 20 F16 fighter planes. The first of the 20 planes are scheduled to be delivered January 22nd. When the deal was made in 2010 Egypt was not under the rule of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. The current leader of Egypt has not made it clear wether or not he will support a good relationship with the U.S. and has held recent meetings with Iran.
