Stop the delivery of excessive junk mail in an effort to reduce waste, and unnecessary cost.

Created by B.M. on September 04, 2012

Every year, the average American household receives around 41 lbs. of junk mail delivered to their door, whether they have requested these services or not.

Now do the math, in an average 20 unit apartment building that would be around 821 lbs. a year! For just one single apartment complex! The city of L.A. alone has over 800,000 complexes in it. That's 656,800,000 lbs. of useless junk mail being delivered in just one city! Mail that people do not ask for, never signed up for, and appear to have no way of stopping, as removal sites do not work most of the time. This useless service is allowing for an antiquated post office to stay in business and cost the tax payers money, on top of killing the environment. The Obama administration wants green ideas, stop the waste of resources.
