The United States of America should not be providing additional major weapons systems such as F-16 fighter jets and M1 Abrams Main Battle Tanks to the current leadership regime in Egypt. Regardless of the democratic roots of the current regime, its leadership espouses an ideology of hate against Israel and affords second class citizenry to women and non-Muslims.
For the United States to provide additional weaponry to the current regime in Egypt is to implicitly support its vision of sharia law and a populace indoctrinated in hatred against Israel as well as non-Muslims.
