Stop denying Theodore Roosevelt the honor he deserves on US currency!

Created by J.Z. on February 19, 2013

Teddy Roosevelt is ranked as one of the best US presidents. Through trustbusting, protecting the environment, protecting workers and consumers, and having mythic manliness, who couldn't love him?
Now, the government honors some... well, non-ideal figures for currency, such as Andrew Jackson (Cherokee exterminator who hated banks), Jefferson (socially awkward slave owner), and FDR (good president despite throwing citizens into internment camps).
Good 'ole Teddy does not have these disgracing faults, and if he is honored by being placed on some type of coinage/dollar bill, America will be reminded of his gusto, strength, and inexorability. President Obama, we need this inspiration in such trying times. If Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln get double currencies, why can't Teddy get one?
