Stop the Department of Defense contracting companies from outsourcing and employing non-United States citizens. Defense department contracting agencies are actively outsourcing jobs to citizens of other countries such as the Phillipines, Bosnia and other nations, where labor rates are very cheap. This is done only to increase the profit margins of the companies that hold the contracts, while the practice places our own soldiers, sailors, airmen and citizens in grave danger and also prevents American citizens from holding these job positions. Some of the jobs that have already been outsourced are very sensitive positions such as firefighters and armed security. Please help stop the practice of outsourcing the jobs that support our soldiers,sailors and airmen by signing this petition.
