stop Department of transportation from requiring Hobbyists and Professional Photographers to register their UAVs

This petition comes to life after federal officials and the DOT declared their intentions of forming laws that will require hobbyists to register their UAVs. We believe this is unreasonable and limits the freedom of the people to practice their hobby as no remote controlled cars, boats, and other toys or professional hobby grade vehicles were required to be registered with the DOT previously. We believe this is a waste of taxpayers money as most probably it will require training and additional overhead in specific departments to understand and register UAVs. Therefore we request that our elected government officials to stop that law from passing.
