Stop deployment of all US personnel who do not have a medical job. Prevent unnecessary Ebola infections to US workers.

Created by H.L. on October 10, 2014

Do not deploy US Civilian and Military personnel whose primary job function is non medical, to Liberia. There will most likely be infections and casualties to non medical personnel. Non medical personnel do not have the proper training in infection control (This cannot be learned from a series of simple classes.) and puts US troops and civilians in danger as well as opens a route of infection to the US mainland. This is a national security issue, act accordingly.

Questions:

Probability of infection to non-medically trained people is higher, correct?

If there is not enough people available, is there a certified infection control specialist and backup specialists in every group who will be in charge of the safety of the group and directly supervise non-medical personnel.
