East Asian nations are very discriminatory against Black people (people of sub-Saharan African descent). It follows that Black servicemen and women that are stationed in these countries face harsh racism on a daily basis, often while seeing the non-Black members of their units have the time of their lives. This is a major shock to morale and has led many young Black servicemen to commit suicide. These issues are not reported, or are brushed over by the mainstream media, and they need to be addressed.
Stationing Black servicemen and women in these countries is bad for the locals who do not want us there, bad for the Black servicemen and women that have traumatizing experiences there without even entering a combat zone, and bad for the morale of the Armed Forces as a whole.
