Religious minorities in Iraq and Syria face extreme persecution today, especially from militant groups like Al Qaeda and ISIS.
Several Iraqi Chaldean Christians have been deported after their asylum applications were rejected.
In response, this petition calls for the Obama Administration to immediately stop the deportation of Syrian and Iraqi religious minorities including but not limited to Christians, Yazidis, Druze, and Zoroastrians.
In addition, this petition calls for the Obama Administration to make greater efforts to assist and reach out to persecuted religious minorities who are afraid of entering refugee camps and seeking asylum due to persecution.
