The New York Times has described administration plans to deport women and children back to Central American countries where they may face gang recruitment and violence.

These plans are highly irresponsible.
President Obama must step in and use his power over the Department of Homeland Security to stop these deportations which will have irreversible and severe consequences for women and children.
This is not the kind of president we voted for and Obama should avoid tarnishing his legacy.
