Stop the Deportations.

Millions of undocumented foreign born people are presently living in the United States. These are typically working people, many with families. We have way too many people living in limbo- some of these folks have been waiting years to hear from the US Government on their resident status. Many are, or have family members who are in the US Military.
They are afraid of the legal authorities. The young people can't get scholarships. They await day by day as Congress plays political football with their lives and their request for resident visas languish in Washington. They listen to political candidates and pundits describe them as "illegal aliens".
As this country awaits immigration reform, we consider it essential that the deportations stop as we await a more permanent solution.
