Stop discrimination against adoptees in every state of America. Access to birth certificates are a RIGHT,not a privilege

Adult adoptees in America do not have the same rights as those of us who were raised by our biological parents and families. In many states, adoptees are barred from obtaining familial information, medical histories, and even their own original birth certificate! Some of this information could even save their life or the life of their children. Nothing short of a court order can open these files - and even going to court guarantees nothing.The practice of sealing adoption records was put in place in the interest of "protecting" the biological parents identity - a protection that in many cases was neither requested, nor wanted. It's time that the veil of secrecy and deception is removed fully from adoption once and for all, at the Federal level. Please give adoptees their rights too!!
