To stop discrimination against disabled parents when it comes to custody laws.

Created by D.M. on November 28, 2012

This is to stop the discrimination when it comes to custodial rights when it comes to disabled parents. The mandates of each state are changed sometimes to keep a disabled parent from seeing their children. Virginia is one of the states that has this mandate, where parents that have certain disability's can not see there children. I suffer from Bi-Polar in which I was ordered only to be able to see my daughter once every two weeks. This causes serious mental anguish when I cant see my daughter with the conditions I've got. Not to mention the mother has all the power whether she wants me to see my daughter. I think that the 1986 disability act should help parents she their children. Even if its supervised by a social worker I think people should have equal rights. Equality is the virtue!!!!
