Stop Discrimination against GLBT Veterans By The VA

Created by R.G. on July 30, 2013

Stop discrimination against gay employees and gay veterans by the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Little Rock VA Regional Office, and the Central Arkansas Veterans Health Care System. Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transsexual, and transgender veterans have worked, fought, and died alongside their straight counterparts. They served in silence long before DADT and its eventual repeal 17 years later. They deserve to be treated with the same respect and dignity as their fellow straight veterans.
Even the repeal of "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" (DADT) has received very little fanfare or public notice. Even federal Judge Virginia Phillips, who ruled DADT to be unconstitutional under the 5th amendment (honors rightfully belong to Judge Philips.
