... stop the discrimination against smokers in the new healthcare laws.

Created by A.H. on January 28, 2013

1 in 5 adults in this country are smokers. That's a /very/ large segment of the constituency! And yet smokers are singled out, as a group, to be discriminated against when the new healthcare laws are in place.
The obese, alcoholics, drug addicts (prescription or non-) ... all these groups /also/ cost millions in healthcare-related expenses every year ... but are they singled out? No. Only smokers.
Don't see the comparison? We all started doing something we knew we shouldn't, but we did. And now we are addicted, in our own ways.
President Obama -- you are a smoker. You should understand. This portion of the new policy should be overturned, before millions of people are forced to either forgo insurance or be forced into poverty by the cost of it.
Please repeal this part of the law!
Thanks.
