STOP discrimination and personal bias during Consular CR1 and all visa interviews.

Created by H.G. on February 24, 2012

Legal immigration for spouses of US citizens from third world countries can become a nightmare of emotional despair and financial hardship. The Consular division Visa interview process needs to be monitored for personal bias and discrimination. Interviews should be recorded and there should be an oversight group that reviews these interviews. Legal spouses of US citizens can be left in administrative processing status indefinitely with no legal recourse. The documented guidelines for the consular interviews are not followed and our spouses are treated with no dignity or respect. The entire experience is negative, emotionally and financially debilitating. It should be an unbiased process regardless of race or culture. This requires oversight and accountability
