Stop Discrimination of Disability from asking when a person last worked!!!

Created by A.J. on February 03, 2014

Have you ever walked into a job, had your resume looked at, then the guy hiring you asks the one question you were hoping he wouldn't bring up: "You have a gap here from this time to this time. What were you doing then?". It's un-fair! You want to know why? Because some people haven't worked for years because they were recovering from Cancer. You tell them the truth in the interview, he IMMEDIATELY can discriminate against you by not picking you while he tells you "We found someone more qualified", or "The position has been filled". If this happened once or twice, no problem, but It has happened to me for a year. They say they don't discriminate gender, orientation, race, disability, religion and all of that, but that is because it's a law. This gives them a loop hole.
